Discipleship Training
Discipleship Training includes courses in Christian and Baptist beliefs, Christian growth, Bible background, ministry/witnessing training, new member orientation, potential worker training, cell groups, youth and children's Bible Drill (pictured), and much more! Preschool care is provided during DT courses at the church. Enrollment and attendance is open, unless otherwise noted. Here is the current schedule of courses:
Children Discipleship Training:
Bible Buddies (Grades 1-3) at 7:00 p.m., Wednesdays, led by Edie Miller in the Education Bldg., 2nd floor.
Children's Bible Drill (Grades 4-6) at 7:00 p.m., Wednesdays, directed by Trisha Lipscomb in the Education Building, 2nd floor.
Youth Discipleship Training:
On Wednesdays, Youth enjoy Impact Worship at 6:00 p.m. in the Sadler Annex.
Youth Bible Drill and Speakers Tournament practice is held at 4:00 p.m., Sundays in the Sadler Annex.
Adult Discipleship Training:
Beginning February 7th, we will offer a course on Worship at 4:45pm in the Sadler Annex. We will study the biblical basis, history, elements and styles of worship, including music. David Cooke will be facilitating. Those registered for CCM credit will arrive at 4:00 p.m.
A second adult DT course will begin on February 14th at 4:45 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Eddie Bramhall will be teaching the adult Sunday School Explore the Bible for those who cannot get those lessons on Sunday mornings. We will be in the book of Mark for the rest of February. We will be in Mark 13 on the 14th. Beginning in March we will have a three month study in Exodus and Leviticus.
Church Prayer Ministry is led by Bro. Johnny Davis at 5:30 p.m., Sundays in the Prayer Chapel.
Also on Wednesdays:
Prayer Meeting and Bible Study at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall
WOW (Walk on Water) Women's Bible Study at 6:00 p.m. in the Ruth classroom.
