Discipleship Training

 Our Discipleship Training program organization includes courses in Christian and Baptist beliefs, Christian growth, Bible background, ministry/witnessing, new member orientation, potential worker training, cell groups, youth and children’s Bible Drill (pictured), and much more!  Preschool care is provided during DT courses at the church.  Enrollment and attendance is open, unless otherwise noted.  Here is the current schedule of courses:

 

Children Discipleship Training:

 

Children’s Bible Drill  for grades 4-6 is held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays on the second floor of the Education Building.  Bible Buddies for grades 1- 3 is held at that same time on the first floor.

 

 

Youth Discipleship Training

Youth Bible Drill and Speakers Tournament practice is held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays in the church parlor.

MIA Sunday afternoons at 4:45 MIA stands for Ministry In Action, come get involved!

 

 

 

Adult Discipleship Training on Sundays

Explore the Bible is offered at 4:45 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We are currently studying the book of Romans.  This study, from the adult Sunday School curriculum Explore the Bible, is great for those who cannot be in a similar study on Sunday mornings and for ETB teachers who would like a preview of next Sunday morning’s lesson.

Journey is a class is for women facing adversity in their lives.  They are studying the book, Precious in His Sight in the Naomi classroom.

Sharpening Relationship Skills is a Certificate of Christian Ministry course held at 3:00 p.m. on Sundays, in the Fellowship Hall, through November 20th. David Cooke is the facilitator of the course.

 

For Adults on Tuesdays:

Great Oaks Bible Study is a fellowship supper, prayer time, and  Bible study in the Great Oaks Subdivision at 7:00 p.m.

 

For Adults on Wednesdays:

Prayer Meeting is held at 5:50 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Pastor’s Bible Study is held at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

WOW (Walk on Water) is a Women’s Bible Study held at 6:00 p.m. in the Ruth classroom.

Women’s Brunch is held the second Thursday of the month during the school year at the Medina Valley Church of the Nazarene.
