Adults with Special Needs
For over ten years, First Baptist Devine has provided ministries to Adults and Youth with Special Needs (physical and intellectual disabilities). We currently offer Sunday School through the Job Bible class which meets at 9:45 a.m. Sundays in the west Sanctuary overflow room. In addition, we have now started an extension class that meets at Heritage Center at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays!
Our students also enjoy eating out and viewing movies in San Antonio, going on fishing trips, and other outings throughout the year.
For the past three years we have taken our students to a Special Needs South Retreat at Alto Frio Encampment. The activities include, swimming, fishing, challenge courses, great food, and games. We have also conducted Vacation Bible School for youth and adults with special needs.
Our Job Bible Class has also taken trips to Devine Acres and Morgan’s Wonderland.

Job Extension Class
Our Job Bible Study Class now has a satellite campus at the Heritage Care Center. We hold a Bible study there at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesdays. We average 10-12 in attendance, just about the same number as our parent Job class at FBC on Sundays! Join us!
