The church is now equipped with a monitored security system (burglar and fire) installed by Medina Valley Security. It is a sad commentary on the times in which we live, but churches are no longer safe from burglary and vandalism. Besides having a key to get in, you must now have a security code in order to disarm the alarm system. There are keypads for this purpose located inside, near two different entrances. The time delay at those entrances is thirty seconds, which allows sufficient time to enter the proper code and disarm the alarm system. All other monitored areas and entrances have NO time delay, and entering them will cause an immediate alarm condition. At that time a high powered outdoor siren will sound, and the monitoring service will be notified by the alarm system. If the proper procedures are not followed at that time, law enforcement will be dispatched to the church to investigate and take appropriate action. For further information or to arrange for after hours access, please contact the church office.
